Hello everyone. Welcome to the 21st Century Thoroughbred.
Well, we’ve almost
reached the end of the trail with only three major Kentucky Derby points races
left to be run this Saturday: the Wood Memorial Stakes, the Blue Grass Stakes
and the Santa Anita Derby.
All three of those
races will be broadcast live on NBC and Peacock beginning at 4:30 ET. At Santa
Anita Park, Messier has been tabbed the even money morning-line favorite in the
Santa Anita Derby (G1). Post time is 5:30 p.m. ET.
Messier is a horse I profiled as a yearling
at auction and with an A+++ Classic Champion Thoroughbred Profile® he has the
best breeding of all the horses entered in this race.
