In 2016, we debuted our Classic Champion Thoroughbred Profile® software as a sales analytical tool at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale. From that sale, we had four colts that went on to compete in the 2018 Kentucky Derby: Best of Sale Pick Good Magic (2017 Eclipse Champion Two Year Old Male), Vino Rosso (2019 Eclipse Champion Older Dirt Male), Solomini and Free Drop Billy.

Country House is a colt we profiled at the 2017 Keeneland September Yearling Sale and he won the 2019 Kentucky Derby.

In 2018, we profiled Mr. Big News, Max Player, Belichick and Clayton as yearlings at auction. Mr. Big News finished third in the 2020 Kentucky Derby. Max Player finished third in the Belmont Stakes. Belichick and Clayton raced in Canada. Belichick won the Breeders’ Stakes and finished second in the Queen’s Plate. Clayton is dual classic-placed with a third in the Queen’s Plate and second in the Prince of Wales Stakes.

In 2019, Classic Champion Thoroughbreds, LLC went through many transitions and was not able to properly cover the auctions. So the reports of graded stakes winners and placers will be few. However, there should be many reports from the 2020 auctions.

The ability to know the potential of a horse before he goes to the breeding shed, sales ring or racetrack is of utmost importance. Since the 2016 debut of our software as a sales analysis tool, we now have a total of 101 horses profiled at auction that have won or placed in national and international stakes competition including two classic winners and four classic-placed horses.
