The Road to the Kentucky
Derby continues this Saturday at Oaklawn Park where Caddo River will go to the
starting gate in the Rebel Stakes (G2) as the 9-5 morning-line favorite. Post
time for the race is 6:16 p.m. Eastern Time.
The winner of the Rebel Stakes (G2) will
receive 50 Derby points. The second-place finisher will get 20 points. The third-place
finisher will get 10 points and the fourth-place finisher will receive 5
points.
A couple of long shots I like are Big Lake
(12-1) and Hozier (12-1).
