The
appearance of Country House on the Kentucky Derby Leaderboard, with a second-place
finish in in the
Risen Star Stakes (G2), comes as no surprise to us at Classic
Champion Thoroughbreds, LLC. He was a yearling (Hip 2203)
we profiled at the 2017 Keeneland September Yearling Sale and he has a B Classic Champion
Thoroughbred Profile®.
Also, Thunder Blade is an
A+ profile yearling we profiled at the 2017 Keeneland sale and he won a Handicap
race yesterday at Seoul Racecourse, South Korea: https://bit.ly/2DOpday.
Country House, a chestnut
colt by Lookin at Lucky out of Quake Lake by War Chant, now bumps our 2017 sales
list yearling profiles to 17 horses that are performing well nationally and
internationally:
Harvey Wallbanger (Hip 176):
1st Holy Bull Stakes (G2).
Country House (Hip 2203):
2nd Risen Star Stakes (G2).
(f)-Alexa Rose (Hip 719): 1st
Matchbook/British Stallion Studs EBF Fillies’ Novice Stakes; 2nd
Ladbrokes Bet 5 Get 20 EBF Novice Stakes; 3rd in both the Inspire
Racing Club British Stallion Studs EBF Novice Stakes and Ladbrokes Home Of The
Odds Boost/British Stallion Studs EBF Novice Stakes.
Spanish Mission (Hip 433): 1st
Bet totequadpot At totesport.com Conditions Stakes. 3rd totespool
Cashback Club At totesport.com EBF Novice Stakes.
In addition, two horses
have been running well in South Korea.
Thunder
Blade has
compiled a 2-2-0 record in five starts at Seoul Racecourse, South Korea: https://bit.ly/2T5bVwS. A dark bay gelding by
Tale of Ekati out of Regally bred by A.P. Indy (Hip 3025), Thunder Blade has an A+
Classic Champion Thoroughbred Profile®.
Curlin
Time has compiled a 0-2-0 record in
three starts at Busan Gyeongnam Racecourse Park, South Korea: https://bit.ly/2yJ8GDi. A
chestnut colt by Curlin out of Inny Minnie by Hard Spun (Hip 1684),
Curlin Time has an A Classic Champion Thoroughbred Profile®.
*****
One
thing to keep in mind is that Classic Champion Thoroughbreds, LLC handpicks the
yearlings we profile at auction based on their breeding before an analysis profile
is completed and that is how some horses that don’t have an A+ or A ranking can
make our sales list.
In
the case of Country House, there were some unique features of his pedigree that
warranted and analysis and the final score, grade was a B.
Some unique features of the
Classic Champion Thoroughbred Profile®:
• Cutting edge software #LeadsTheWay. From foal to
finish line™ the Classic Champion Thoroughbred Profile® software can help you
maximize your sale dollars and purchase horses at auction that have the
potential to be equine champions. https://bit.ly/2tE68TC
• The Classic Champion Thoroughbred Profile® can
help horse owners breed equine champions by selecting the best mares for their
stallion. We now have 14 horses from the 2016 Yearling auction list that are
winners or placers in graded stakes and stakes races: https://bit.ly/2MqbWI4
• From foal to finish line™ the Classic Champion
Thoroughbred Profile® can help horse owners and trainers spot their horses in
stakes races where they will have the most success by analyzing the profiles of
all the horses entered in the race: https://bit.ly/2tjIv3h

Calvin,
ReplyDeleteGreat read as always....looking for your thoughts on Global Campaign and whether you think they should go in the FOY or the TB derby. FOY shaping up to be a great race.
Also, any idea where to get into that Justin Dew blog convo again? Those were some great reads back in the day.
Thanks!
