The Road to the
Kentucky Derby continues this Saturday at the Fair Grounds racecourse where
Mandaloun is projected to go the starting gate in the Louisiana Derby (G2) as
the 8-5 morning-line favorite. Post time for the race is 6:44 p.m.
Eastern Time.
The winner of the Louisiana Derby (G2) will
receive 100 Derby points. The second-place finisher will get 40 points. The
third-place finisher will get 20 points and the fourth-place finisher will
receive 10 points.
A couple of long shots I like are Starrininmydreams
(20-1) and Rightandjust (20-1).
