The Road to the 2020
Kentucky Derby continues this Saturday May 23rd at Churchill
Downs where a field of 12 runners will go the starting gate in the Matt Winn
Stakes (G3) with a post time of 5:44 p.m. Eastern Time.
The winner of the Matt Winn will receive 50
Derby points. The second-place finisher will receive 20 points. The third-place
finisher will get 10 points and the fourth-place finisher will receive 5
points.
Maxfield has been tabbed the 5-2 morning-line
favorite and he has an A+ Classic Champion Thoroughbred Profile®. Mystic Guide
(15-1) also has an A+ profile and he is my long shot pick.
