Vino Rosso Adds To Classic Champion Thoroughbreds’ Roster Of Keeneland Sales Stakes Winners, Stakes Placers

In 2016, Classic Champion Thoroughbreds, LLC profiled 101 yearlings at the Keeneland September sale (http://bit.ly/2cS8Mwu) and, Saturday, Vino Rosso (Hip 528) finished third in the Sam F. Davis Stakes (G3) giving us a total of nine colts that are stakes winners or stakes placed.

VINO ROSSO tracked between horses, rallied with a mild gain in the drive for the show spot.

Vino Rosso looked good finishing third in his stakes debut just 1¼ lengths shy of victory and a new stakes record final time of 1:42.44. With an A Classic Champion Thoroughbred Profile®, Vino Rosso has the breeding to be competitive on the Derby trail and I look for him to continue to move forward.
