So far, one mile is the farthest that Mission Impazible has run. But with Unbridled’s Song as his sire and Hold Your Peace as his damsire, Mission Impazible has similar breeding to Old Fashioned, winner of the 2008 Remsen Stakes (G2), and I believe the stretch out to 9-furlongs will be more to his liking. Hold Your Peace was also the damsire of Peace Rules, winner of the 2003 Louisiana Derby."<br /><br />Both Old Fashioned and Mission Impazible have the same sire (Unbridled's Song) and damsire line. Hold Your Peace is the damsire of Mission Impazible but he is the grand damsire of Old Fashioned.Calvin Carterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10135059434890408890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6923306023768834171.post-89164433592816903982010-03-28T13:55:03.694-04:002010-03-28T13:55:03.694-04:00Very Nice Calvin. I don't put to much stock in the final times. Todd Connemara should not be consider a second stringer. The colt does not train in Northern California but at Santa Anita. Workouts have been outstanding.<br /><br />Connemara is a very heavy colt with a powerful stride that keeps going and going, thus the further the colt races, the better the colt will be. How many does that make for Todd on Derby day "post 1-10" Lol!Barry Reed Mitchellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13903316583409905690noreply@blogger.com
